Logic is using his music to bring light into others lives.
Logic’s “1-800-273-8255” has been making a difference in many lives. The Bay Area rapper has used his talent to help others through their dark time. 1-800-273-8255, the official suicide prevention hotline number, is also the title to his song. When it dropped in April, Logic tweeted out how he “made this song for all of you who are in a dark place and can’t seem to find the light.” The song revolves around a character who is going through a dark time but ends up fighting through it.
While the song has been making a positive impact through listeners, it has also helped The Suicide Prevention Lifeline. The lifeline, has been here for those suffering with suicide. Yesterday (July 12), Logic shared a tweet with an analysis the lifeline did after the song’s release. From the picture, it shows that Logic’s song has helped guided many to their number in unprecedented numbers.
