Lizzo becomes the latest celebrity to aid in the fight against coronavirus by providing hospital staff with lunch.
The “Good As Hell” singer spread joy to hospital staff across the country. As healthcare professionals face unprecedented surges in patients and lack of resources, the last thing any emergency room doctor or nurse should be worried about is lunch.
As a ‘thank you’ for their dedication during the coronavirus pandemic, Lizzo treated staff at hospitals in Detroit, Seattle, and Minneapolis.
That moment when you’re working the ER and @Lizzo surprises you by sending over some lunch! ???

According to The Seattle Times, Lizzo’s noble need was not a one-time occurrence.
“She sent several hospitals food that were hit really hard for staff working around the clock.” says a representative for the Grammy-award winning singer. “She is planning to send food to more hospitals as well.” they continue.
Lizzo is slated to headline Bonaroo Festival 2020, as the first woman to lead the bill. Like many public events, the annual Tennesee festival has been postponed to later in the year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
