
Lizzo’s Truth Hurts finally makes it to the coveted No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
Marking her first No. 1 song, Lizzo’s career continues to progress forward. Lizzo vibrantly performed Truth Hurts during the 2019 VMAs and released a fresh new remix featuring rapper DaBaby. The song initially debuted at No. 50 back in May according to Billboard.
Billboard reports Truth Hurts doubled sales numbers from 26,000 to 53,000 sold in the week ending Aug. 29 according to Nielsen Music.
Lizzo has been vocal about wanting to break into the No. 1 spot so the news comes with a social media celebration, thanking fans who she refers to as Lizzbians.
