Madonna may have blocked Lionel Richie from No. 1 with her ‘M.D.N.A.’ album 2 weeks ago but this week it’s a completely different story, as Richie’s new album ‘Tuskegee’ is expected to sell double its predicted sales and rise 4-1 on the Billboard 200.
Thanks to a CBS special last Friday night sales of ‘Tuskegee’ soared so much so, that it doubled its original sales estimates and is on course to sell 125,000 units, more than Adele’s ’21’ or Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’.
‘Tuskegee’ made its original chart debut on the Billboard 200 almost 3 weeks ago with 199,000 units sold.
