Having eleven studio albums underneath his belt and an impressive amount of mixtapes, Lil Wayne is still going strong in his career and the demand for new music from the rapper is certainly present. With his most recent album, Free Weezy Album, dropped back in 2015, it’s about that time that another studio album from Lil Wayne makes its way to us and Hip Hop culture.
Now, not being the time, the hit-maker seems to have heard the cries of fans and has premiered four brand new tracks. Pulling in features from Jeezy, Gudda Gudda, production from Mike Will Made-It, and more, Weezy even shows he’s been paying attention to what’s current as one of the four tracks is a freestyle over Playboi Carti’s hit tune, “Magnolia.”
Giving us the current state of his lyrical prowess, along with some hints of the Lil Wayne we’ve grown up to love and appreciate, it seems like it’ll never be an exciting time when it comes down to Lil Wayne dropping new music, especially at random. If we know the rapper like we think, there’s most definitely much more for us in his stash. Not being too greedy, we’ll stick to the matter at hand.
