
Lil’ Wayne has announced that his next project will drop in early 2020. The project is tentatively titled Funeral and will be released in February.
News of the album arrived through Instagram. A fan messaged the Louisiana legend to ask about his next project and he responded by telling them that it would be out in February.
Recently, the New Orleans native was on set with Lil’ Baby for an upcoming collaboration that will be on the album. He also opened up abut his admiration for the rising rapper.

Wayne said, “I’m a big Lil’ Baby fan.”
He continued, “I loved his voice at first and it kinda reminded me of me when I was younger. And then his melodies and stuff started getting at me. And then I started actually listening to what he’s saying and he talk about the struggle a lot and he’s talking about some real stuff.”
The news also comes just days after Drake hopped on stage with DaBaby to let fans know that he has new music coming in 2020. Not to mention, Nicki Minaj told fans that she wouldn’t stay away from music forever
The next year will be a big year for the Young Money trio. Prepare for a new project from Lil’ Wayne in the new year.
