Lil Wayne pulls out of Rolling Loud Miami 2019 performance, citing his disdain for mandatory police checks as the reason.
Fans of the New Orléans rapper face disappointment following his abrupt decision to not take the Rolling Loud stage. Lil Wayne scheduled to perform the annual event disagreed with festival policies regarding police check and security.
According to Lil Wayne, a mandatory police check carried out by festival officials intruded on his artistry. The rapper uses social media to explain his decision and apologize to fans, welcoming them to attend his joint tour with Blink 182.
Fellow rapper Kodak Black was arrested on festival grounds however the arrest does not appear to stem from the festival police required search procedure.
