Thankfully, Chicago rapper Lil’ Reese is recovering after being hit during a Chicago area shooting on November 11th. He was hit in the neck and required immediate surgery to repair the damage. Weeks later, he is recovering nicely and is able to move around. However, he may have suffered permanent damage to other parts of his body.
Lil’ Reese addressed his current physical state on Instagram during the holiday weekend. He posted a picture of himself with a caption that read, “Voiceless rite now.” He added, “I lost my voice I didn’t lose my life god is good.

He later took to Twitter to address the matter further. Reese wrote, “I been waking up 6am everyday checking to see if my voice back I pray this sh*t just come over nite…”
No arrests have been made regarding the shooting yet. However, police have identified a person of interest. As of November 25th, police officials explained that they were waiting on an arrest warrant and had identified a car that may have been involved in the incident.
