If 2017 was our introduction to Lil’ Baby and Gunna, 2018 is the year that the duo cements itself among the leaders of the new school. Over the course of the year, the two have achieved success together and as individuals. Together, the two have managed to put out records like “Sold Out Dates” and “Drip Too Hard”. By himself, Baby has managed to collaborate with Drake and put out his debut album, Harder Than Ever. Gunna has also done well for himself. The Atlanta native has managed to appear on Astroworld and put out one of the best mixtapes of the year, Drip Season 3. As the two look to make the next step in their careers, they have come together to release their most anticipated project yet.
The clock has struck midnight and Drip Harder has arrived. The first full length project from the duo out of Atlanta features Drake, Young Thug, Nav and Lil’ Durk. However, the duo manages to handle the majority of the thirteen track project themselves. With a project of this magnitude out in the streets, the sky is the limit for the two going forward. Gunna will hit the road with Travis Scott next month and Lil’ Baby will continue to influence the future of rap as he puts out more music.
