Not so “relevant” rapper Lil B is trying to make headlines again by recently telling a Golden State Warriors podcast that the Based God Curse he put on the reigning MVP is still alive. I guess considering Kevin Durant hasn’t won a title yet, Lil B could have a point.
In the interview, the Based God would also say that if the Warriors (who are is favorite team) and Thunder met in the playoffs, he would buy court side seats so he can personally heckle Durant.
The Based God also said he’s not worried about the Lebron James led Cavs, or any other team for that matter to get in the way of a Warriors title run. Golden State is currently 36-6 on the season, with MVP candidate Stephen Curry and a possible coach of the year candidate in first year head coach Steve Kerr.
Lil B isn’t that smart to begin with, trying to challenge KD in a game of one-on-one is his song “F Kevin Durant.” I like to think I’m smart to a degree, so if I had the power to put the “Based God Curse” on someone, I’d put it on every NBA team except for my favorite one. That’s a guaranteed title if the curse is a real thing no?
The real question I have though is: If the Dallas Mavericks and Warriors meet in the playoffs, will the Based God still be “up in the club with Dirk Nowitzki?”
