It’s been a great publicity week for Lil B this week. His Based God Curse has become relevant again even with out Kevin Durant not in the playoffs, as James Harden has seemed to become the latest victim. That of course was because the Based God claims that Harden stole his “cooking dance,” something Lil B wants Harden to give him credit for.
Now the Based God is ripping Harden again, questioning whether the bearded all-star is taking basketball seriously. In between Game Three and Game Four of the Western Conference Finals in Houston, Drake had a concert at the Toyota Center which is the Rockets home arena, and James Harden was in attendance. Lil B heard about that and questioned if Harden was loyal to the sport he plays professionally.
The Rockets were down in their series against the Golden State Warriors 3-0, and one game away from being swept
“I heard James Harden was at Drake’s concert partying,” The Based God said. “He’s 0-3. Was James Harden doing the Lil B cooking dance there? He needs to relax and just focus on the playoffs.”
Lil B maybe onto something here. So what advice would you give to the runner-up in the MVP voting Based God?
“I really don’t have to say anything. I’m all over. I’m on ESPN, FOX Sports, CBS Sports, ESPN’s ‘His and Hers,’ SportsCenter, and if James Harden doesn’t watch that stuff, then I don’t really know if he loves the game.”
We all know Lil B loves the game, he challenged Kevin Durant one-one-one and guaranteed that he would beat the 2013-2014 NBA MVP.
James Harden did drop 45 points on the Warriors in Game Four leading Houston to a win and saving their season, so I think he might be taking things pretty seriously.
Something that everyone should look forward to is Game Five Wednesday night in Oakland, where The Based God will be in attendance at Oracle Arena to watch the Rockets face the Warriors.
WIll the Based God Curse get to James Harden again with the Based God sitting court side, or will Harden be “cooking dancing” his way to another victory.
