Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell had some words to say to Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict. Bell said in a tweet that Vontaze has “gotta go” after kicking Roosevelt Nix on Sunday. The play in question occurred early in the first quarter.

it’s unbelievable the league is just condoning this activity…but if Rosie reacts, Rosie would be the one that would get into trouble https://t.co/IFbNZPZtWR

This is not the first time this season Burfict has been the subject of on the field controversy. Burfict was suspended for five games in August for an illegal hit on Kansas City fullback Anthony Sherman. This suspension was reduced to three games later that month.
Burfict has had a number of suspensions and fines over the past few years. He missed the first three games of last season for a hit on Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown.
This behavior has not deterred the Bengals from continuing to stand behind their linebacker. The Bengals gave Burfict a huge contract extension this offseason. Burfict will not be suspended for this incident, but this does not help his reputation, or the reputation of his teammates, for being a dirty player.
