The Los Angeles Clippers have officially signed Lester Hudson to a 10-day deal. Throughout his NBA career, Hudson has played for Boston, Memphis, Washington, and Cleveland.
Over the last two seasons, Hudson has been named the most valuable player of the Chinese Basketball Association while playing with the Xinjiang Flying Tigers, and the Liaoning flying Leopards. He has made the all star game in all three of his seasons as a member of the Chinese Basketball Association.
While playing for UT Martin, Hudson became the first ever NCAA Division I men’s basketball player to perform a triple-double. Hudson also became the first player in history to become an All-American.
Hudson will likely not do much for the Clippers, or even get in the game much throughout the rest of the season. Any contribution he makes will probably be more than what is going to be expected from him by Doc Rivers and the rest of the Clippers coaching staff. Maybe even a small success would land Hudson a spot back in the NBA come next season.
