Here we go again! The Cleveland Cavaliers on a win streak? Let’s crown the Cavs as the new dynasty! Kyrie has had a couple good games? Oh well now he’s a top 5 guard right?
The Cavs are currently on a win streak. And the players are feeling good. Suddenly now that they’re winning everybody has forgot about the problems, David Blatt’s seat has gotten a lot cooler. It’s amazing to see how winning can be the best remedy.
Now. Kyrie Irving. Is a very interesting player. He creates a lot of highlights, he has the occasional beast game that gets all the NBA standing up and clapping.
LeBron James loves Kyrie Irving. So much so that he doesn’t miss a chance to praise him. According to Cleveland Plain Dealer, LeBron says that Kyrie is turning into a leader.
“He’s been great, both on the floor and off the floor,” James said. “He’s turning into a leader in his own right, and every day it’s great to see him improve. Winning is a great thing in our league. No substitute for winning, but it’s how you approach it every single day that puts you in position to succeed. It’s not about winning ball games, it’s about winning every day.
“That’s part of the process, and Kyrie has taken that full storm and if we continue to get that from him we’ll be very, very good.“
Remember when Cleveland went on a 8 game win streak late last year? Well after that they fell off hard and were under .500 for a while.
Let’s just wait because I’m getting a sense of deja vu.
