Did you really think LeBron James would play every single game? Of course not! Especially with preseason. You don’t see Peyton Manning playing every quarter of every preseason game do you? Exactly. Which is why NBA.com is reporting that LeBron James will miss the Cavaliers’ preseason game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
With Cleveland scheduled for three preseason games in four days, coach David Blatt wants to rest his superstar Tuesday night. James is not injured and Blatt says this is ”just part of our process and part of our management of how we want to approach preseason and best get him ready for the start of the season.”
James has been bothered by a stiff back early in training camp.
Blatt says James will play Wednesday when the Cavs face Indiana in Cincinnati.
A stiff back isn’t the worst injury in the world but it definitely is a nuisance. But LeBron wouldn’t be LeBron if he didn’t have the ability to battle through.
