Now that the Golden State Warriors have reached the record heights of MJ’s Bulls and now Olajuwon’s Rockets, it’s time for everyone to look back over these past 15 games and totally drool over it all over again.
Even LeBron James can’t help but give the Warriors props. Or is he? Recently LeBron said that the Warriors are ‘the most healthy team I’ve ever seen’. Is that praise, or is it shade for just being blessed by the basketball gods. Lets see the whole quote.
“I think it comes with a lot of health,” James said when asked about the Warriors tying the all-time mark for best start to a season at 15-0. “They’ve been healthy. They’ve been the most healthy team I’ve ever seen in NBA history, and they have great talent. Those guys all play for one common goal and that’s to win and that’s all that matters.”
James said that continuity in the lineup has led to consistency in their play.
“They’ve just been consistent,” James said. “I think the most impressive thing is the way they just they’ve been playing at a high level, man, for so long.”
Hmm, this is a bit too cryptic for my taste, I think LeBron is half congratulating here. ‘Yea congrats on the 15-0 but you’re just consistent, we would be 15-0 if we were consistent’. That’s what LeBron is doing here. The good ol ‘Yea, but’. I see your game here LeBron James and it’s all good, don’t want to just give them the title now.
