LeBron James took off two weeks this year to get some rest. Obviously, LeBron has been dealing with some issues in terms of fatigue and he’s making a point of it.
According to Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com:
“I would love to get some more rest, especially going into the playoffs and knowing how important those games are, and how physically TAXING those games can be, mentally as well, so we’ll see what happens.”
LeBron James is averaging a career low in minutes, but the Cleveland Cavaliers are second in the Eastern Conference playoffs. With the Atlanta Hawks, comfortably in 1st place, and Chicago and Toronto battling for 3rd and 4th, Cleveland will definitely be the 2nd team in the East. In terms of seeding, they don’t really have to do anything, they will definitely be 2nd place, so maybe King James should start getting some rest.
