The Cleveland Cavaliers are still yet to re-sign Tristan Thompson, but LeBron James still thinks the center will be back in Cleveland next season. The Cavs do have the ability to match any qualifying offer, but would obviously prefer to reach an agreement before Thompson chooses to sign elsewhere.
Yesterday, James had a question and answer session with some of his fans on Twitter, and was asked by one if he thought Thompson would be back with the Cavs for next season. His response, while telling he truth, may have really been more of a way to prove how much he would appreciate a return.
@KingJames do u think @RealTristan13 will resign???

@YrNGiovanni@RealTristan13 Yeah of course he will. Means way too much to our team success!

At only 24 years old, Thompson still has a lot of room to grow even though he has continuously shown improvement while battling through adversity in Cleveland. He has been benched, gone through tough seasons, and most recently lost an NBA Finals.
The Cavs were so close to winning a championship last season, but this season, the drought could end, but Thompson has to be back for that to happen.
