LeBron James’ two sons — LeBron Jr. and Bryce — are both excellent basketball players for their respective ages. This should come as no surprise to anybody, given that their father is LeBron James. However, James’ sons don’t want to follow exactly in his path. They don’t wear their father’s number 23. LeBron Jr. gave a (probably unintentionally) hilarious quote earlier this year about how he doesn’t wear number 23 because he doesn’t want people to know who he is.
So what number did LeBron Jr. choose? Number 0, in honor of Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook. Bryce went with the number of another superstar point guard — number 30, which he wears in honor of Stephen Curry. This is coming from ESPN’s Dave McMenamin:
LeBron tells me LeBron Jr. (No. 0) & Bryce (No. 30) wear their numbers after Westbrook & Steph. "I love that they carve their own path"

LeBron’s being an understanding father about this, which is nice to see. If Curry beats him in the finals again this year do you think he’ll make LeBron Jr. switch his number? All jokes aside, I think it’s a good thing that LeBron’s sons are basing their games off of exceptional point guards like Westbrook and Curry.
