The Most Valuable Player of the Year Award is a very interesting race this year. There are 3 legitimate candidates. Stephen Curry, James Harden, and LeBron James. Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis were both mentioned as well. LeBron James, like any other confident NBA player said that he would give the NBA MVP award to himself.
According to Brian Windhurst of ESPN:
“Guys are going to be able to recognize the guys they play against every night and what they do for their franchises,” LeBron James, who recently was elected as vice president of the union, said Wednesday. …
“The media has done a great job every single year picking the awards. But us players get to see the guys every single day, so it’s a longer conversation.”
James said that players can’t vote for themselves for awards. But who would his vote be for MVP this year?
“Myself,” James said.

Well LeBron, I personally think that you are not in this race anymore. Although you are the most important player on your team, and have lifted your home town team to second the in Eastern Conference. Stephen Curry and James Harden are the most likely recipients of the MVP awards.
