Is it okay to lose some games in Professional Sports? The answer is no, and LeBron James agrees. After the Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the Brooklyn Nets, LeBron James wasn’t happy about it.
According to Brett Pollakof of ProBasketballTalk:
“You don’t chalk up losses,” he said, after finishing with 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting, to go along with nine assists, five rebounds and five steals. “It’s too hard to WIN in professional sports. You don’t chalk up none of it.”
With the Cleveland Cavaliers seemingly clinching the 2nd spot in the Eastern Conference after their loss to Brooklyn. The loss, eliminated them from being in contention for 1st in the East.
LeBron also said:
“We’ll see the ways at the film (session) tomorrow what we didn’t do so well, and how you can get better from that,” James said. “But it’s too hard in this league to ever chalk up a loss.”
With the Cleveland Cavaliers trying to do the final tightening of offense and defense before they make a championship run in about 20 days, LeBron James shouldn’t accept losses, and neither should his teammates.
