David Blatt has been under A LOT of heat during the Playoffs. First he was criticized for calling a time out when he didn’t have one, and now because he said coaching was like being a fighter pilot. He has also received a lot of criticism because of his late game decision making. He drew up a play, which LeBron declined, and LeBron ran his own play, which led to the game-winner.
LeBron even called him out on national television, and he did it with purpose. He wanted to bring it to attention.

LJ on Blatt: "He's our general. I just try to be an extension of him on the floor"

Blatt’s story with the Cavaliers has been an interesting in one, in which he’s never really shown the world what kind of coach he is. He has continued to confuse us. His decision making and relationship with LeBron are not so good, but defensive schemes and his obvious success with the team are pretty valid faults in favor of Blatt.
