This season has been a roller-coaster ride for LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. From starting off as a team who didn’t even seem like they could win a game, to transitioning to a dominant team who sits in 2nd place in the Eastern Conference, the Cavaliers have had tons of publicity around them. One major story that has been developing throughout the year is the relationship between LeBron James and first time Coach David Blatt.
According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN:
“The Princeton offense that David Blatt installed in the preseason, they just threw that out. What typically happens—and this has been happening for like three months now—is LeBron will take the ball, and LeBron will call the play. David Blatt will see what play LeBron calls, and he will repeat it to the team. That happens on a regular basis.”
“I’ve lost track of how many times David Blatt has said something this year and LeBron has directly contradicted it within 45 seconds,”
It’s kind of funny if you think about it, but everyone know’s that Cleveland and the Cavaliers are LeBron’s city and team, and David Blatt isn’t going to take that away from him. But at what point is this system going to mess up?
