The NBA Finals begin tomorrow, June 1, and the last thing LeBron needs is a distraction. Sadly, he has a new distraction to deal with before a career-defining Finals.
It was reported by TMZ Sports that LeBron’s home in Los Angeles, California was vandalized. The vandals spray painted the n-word across Bron’s front gate and the police are investigating this as a possible hate crime.
Multiple LAPD units and a neighborhood patrol vehicle responded to the home early Wednesday morning. We’re told the word was scrawled on the outer gate. We’re told investigators are looking for security footage from neighbors which may show the perpetrator.
LeBron is not living in the house right now because he is in the Oakland preparing for his big matchup against the Warriors. Reportedly the graffiti has since been covered up.
I’m sure this phases LeBron a little bit, but this shouldn’t deter him from his main goal of beating the Golden State Warriors. Considering it was not a break-in or something of that magnitude, LeBron should stay focused.
