Damian Lillard, the Portland Trail Blazers All-Star guard, has long considered himself as one of the forgotten superstars in the NBA. He’s been snubbed for All-Star teams, Olympic teams and sometimes even fans decide to cut on him just because he exists. But there’s one NBA star who is very informed about the talents Damian Lillard possesses. Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James had some high praise for Lillard as his Cavs get set to play the Blazers in Portland.

Not only did James label Lillard as a superstar, he even said that if he had Damian Lillard on his team, he would showcase how appreciated he really is across the league.
LeBron to Portland? Blazers fans would only hope so.
Lillard is having one of his finest seasons yet in his sixth campaign with the Blazers. He’s garnering some MVP consideration with the Blazers in a position for homecourt to star the playoffs and Lillard’s leading the way. The Weber State product is averaging 26.9 points, 6.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds through 60 appearances this season. His Player Efficiency Rating (24.93) ranks 10th in the league, according to ESPN.com.
