The wheeling and dealing Cleveland Cavaliers are trying to build up a roster that’s suitable for the return of the King from injury. LeBron James is slated to possibly return to the new look Cavaliers team as early as next week on January 15th.
LeBron James says he's "on target" to return in a week. Says he'll possibly play on the West coast trip

The Cavaliers, after a home loss to the Houston Rockets, are set to go on a five-game Western Conference road trip. According to the original plan, LeBron would miss games against the Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns and play against the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers.
While LeBron is on track to meet those expectations there is a cause for concern.
This one thing LeBron did admit, before the Cavs game.

That might raise a little eyebrow, but now with some extra help, LeBron probably won’t need to carry as much of a load, especially since Kyrie Irving has been playing out of his mind.
Once the Cavaliers are all healthy and good to go, a starting lineup of Kyrie Irving, Iman Shumpert, LeBron James, Kevin Love and Timofey Mozgov with J.R. Smith, Tristan Thompson and Shawn Marion coming off the bench, teams better hope the Cavs take longer than expected.
