LeBron James was pretty much all the Cleveland Cavaliers had in the NBA Finals. If you see the word ‘carry’ in the dictionary, there should be a cartoon drawing of LeBron James literally carrying the Cavs roster with Kyrie and Kevin Love on a wooden plank with wheels, getting dragged by LeBron via a rope tied to his waist.
Detailed I know, but it’s pretty much true. Yet LeBron still thinks about missed opportunities in the Finals, and I’m sitting here like ‘You literally did all you could.
“I just don’t feel like you ever move on from losing in the Finals,” James said, “because you feel like you’re right there and feel like you have the opportunity to do something special. … I can never get away from losing in the Finals.”
“I guess there’s nightmares now about situations throughout the games that’s always replaying in my head,” James said. “It’s definitely difficult, you know I’m getting better every day, but you know it takes quite a while for me to get out of the funk.“
Well LeBron has clearly been trying to shake it all off with activities such as acting for an upcoming film, riding a banana boat with the boys and sipping red wine. He’s definitely doing all he can to get over it all.
