
LeBron James has played 94% of his games. That’s 987 out of 1,050. That’s some iron-man work right there. What makes him so great is the fact that he keeps his body in tip top condition. He rarely gets injured and if he does he recovers in quick fashion.
Saying all that, don’t you wonder how he keeps himself in such good condition? Well for the past seven years, he’s ditched pork. That’s it, and it has apparently raised his overall performance significantly.
One of his uncles first suggested he give it a try about a decade ago to see if he might notice an improvement in his physical wellness.
After initially refusing, James eventually gave it a shot and never looked back.
“Oh, you can tell the difference,” James told cleveland.com. “It’s in how I recover, the energy I have. It has helped a lot with my performance. Overall, I’ve just been feeling good.“
“It has worked for me,” James said. “It has been one of the best things I’ve decided to do for my career.“
Well there you go then! One of the greatest of our generation stays in good condition by not eating pork. Who knew it was that simple.
