The Players of the week for the week of November 24th-30th has officially been announced. LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers have been named Eastern Conference and Western Conference players of the week, respectively. LeBron averaged 25.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 8.7 assists, and 2.3 steals. Blake Griffin averaged 23.8 points, 9.8 rebounds and 5 assists.
Analysis: Okay Cleveland is starting to feel it. LeBron was way to passive before and was not as much of a leader, he thought he could sit in the back seat while Kyrie Irving drive the bus to the championship game but that is not going to happen. LeBron had to wake up sometime, and it was this week. Now the Cavaliers are hoping for a turn around and an uphill climb to the top of the east. The Clippers need Griffin to contend, and I think he understands that. The Los Angeles Clippers have had way too much media problems going on with Donald Sterling and Blake Griffin being pressed with charges, that they haven’t been able to focus on their game. Blake Griffin has steered the ship back to where it should be and it is looking good for the Clippers.
