Dwyane Wade wants his money! The man has been sacrificing too long for the Miami Heat, which has resulted in 3 NBA championships and even the creation of a dynasty through 2010-2014. Now to put the pressure on the Miami Heat, he has opted out of his contract, in hopes to land a bigger deal with any team, that thinks he’s worth the money. The question is, is Dwyane Wade worth the money? He’s had an array of injuries and it seems like his career is in a steady decline. Why doesn’t he settle for the Miami contract that can hopefully lead them to the Playoffs once again next year?
According to a league executive, and Chris Broussard of ESPN, Wade doesn’t have that good of a free agent market:
League execs telling me there is not a robust market for DWade because of his age (33) and injury problems.

Wade’s injuries and health is a question for any team, but the Lakers, Clippers and Cavaliers look to be the top suitors for Wade and now the free agency race begins. In my honest opinion, the Heat will definitely re-sign Dwyane Wade. They can’t let a guy who was drafted by them in 2003, walk away for absolutely nothing. He has meant so much to this franchise and to let him walk away would not be a happy finish to his career. Could he play with Kobe? Could he re-unite with LeBron? Or could he help another young team (Clippers) to the Finals?
