
The NBA announced their players of the week winners. No, Lebron James wasn’t involved.
The Denver Nuggets Ty Lawson and the Milwaukee Bucks’ Monta Ellis were named Western Conference and Eastern Conference players of the week, for games played Monday, Feb. 25 through Sunday, March 3.
Lawson led Denver to a perfect week (3-0), he averaged 21.0 points per game, 7.0 assists and 1.7 steals. Lawson scored 30 points against the Portland Trailblazers and hit the game winner against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
For the East, Ellis led the Bucks to a perfect week by going 3-0 while averaging 24.0 points, 9.0 assists and 5.0 steals. Ellis made a game winning three over the Rockets and had back to back games with 6 steals.
