Another day, another BALL NIGHT! A load of games to get through which means a load of beast performances. Let’s get into it.
Kemba Walker: 23 points, 7 assists and 3 steals. Throw in 2 blocks and you’ve got yourself a stat sheet. Good win for the Bobcats over the Cavs.
Arron Afflalo: Who knew he had it in him. 30 points. That’s obviously a blip not a trend but lets appreciate his beast performance.
Thaddeus Young: Thad Young has been in Philly for a long time now. And 29 points is just another statement that he’s still an important part of the Sixers.
Al Horford: I’ve been waiting for Al Horford to get some good averages and I think this is his year. I mean for him yes, for Atlanta they’re in the dreaded “mediocre” stage. Not bad enough for tanking. But not good enough for the Playoffs. 22 points and 16 rebounds for the big man.
James Harden and Dwight Howard: These two I have to put together because they’re unstoppable. 34 points and 4 steals for Harden and along with 16 rebounds by Howard… Man if this carries on. I don’t want to say it now but lets just say they’re legit.
Memphis starting Five: I thought Detroit were going to win but the experienced Grizzlies took it to OT and pulled out the win.
T’Wolves “Big 3”: Rubio, Love and Pekovic are something else. To make OKC non existent is crazy. I looked at the score around halftime and they were down by 30! And these three get it done. Double doubles for all three of them.
Paul Pierce: To block Lebron James like this…
And to play 31 minutes even though we thought him and Garnett would barely play. It’s definitely worth a mention. And they pulled out the win. Beast performance indeed.
Lamarcus Aldridge: Aldridge and Horford are sort of the same… Great players, they get the job done but their teams are lacking. But individually, he’s a tank. And this beast performance (25 points, 9 rebounds) in a win expresses that.
Eric Bledsoe: Just this game winner…
Gives him the beast performance. Clutch shot if the night.
Chris Paul and Blake Griffin: These two are going to carry the Clips. And the did it in this game Paul with the assists (10) and Blake’s rebounds (17) it’s clear they’re not kidding around.
Spurs Without Duncan: Obviously they wouldn’t crack without Duncan and they’re okay with it. Kawhi and Splitter with double digit rebounds and Parker with 24 points and 6 assists in a comfortable win against the Lakers.
