Larry Sanders has had a rough season. He recently was suspended for 10 games because he tested positive for Marijuana use, and has had so many issues with drugs, attitude and injuries. Now his 10 game suspension has passed, and he still isn’t playing, which has raised a lot of fan concerns.
According to Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
the suspension will not end until he is in “full compliance” with his treatment program, a league spokesman confirmed Friday.
When Sanders is determined to be in full compliance, the team will be notified by the league and be able to publicize that, the spokesman said.
I think in the long run, this will ultimately help Larry Sanders, both personally, and in terms of his basketball career. If he does really want to have a future in the NBA, he needs to get his act together. The Milwaukee Bucks are still in the playoffs in the Eastern Conference, and have frankly surprised a lot of people with their play this year. With a healthy and rehabilitated Larry Sanders, and Jabari Parker coming back from his ACL tear, the Milwaukee Bucks seem even scarier next year.
