Larry Sanders is a weird guy. All these years and for some reason. He is disinterested in basketball. And I haven’t got the foggiest idea as to why.
In my opinion. If he realised his full potential. He could be a top 5 center. But with all these injuries and fights with teammates and opponents alike. It won’t happen unfortunately. And that’s a damn shame because Milwaukee have actually looked good. Even with the season ending injury to Jabari Parker.
In the light of yesterday when Larry Sanders said that he doesn’t want to play basketball anymore. It turns out that his agent is refuting what Sanders said. And according to the Journal Sentinel, Jason Kidd still considers Sanders as part of the family.
Agent Happy Walters reaction to the Larry Sanders report: “I saw that tweet. It is not accurate at all. Rumor unsubstantiated.“
“Larry’s been working extremely hard,” Kidd said in the interview. “He had the flu. He’s taking care of some personal things. That’s what it is. We’re hoping he joins the team shortly, hopefully in the next couple of days if not tomorrow, and moving forward. If tomorrow, that’s great. That’s all we can report…there’s no more, there’s no less.”
“He’s ours. He’s part of the family,” Kidd said
Larry Sanders needs to make a decision because this isn’t the first time he’s said that he can’t be bothered to play anymore. If he really doesn’t want to. Don’t play. Just retire. Quit wasting Milwaukee’s time. They’re clearly thinking of becoming a Playoff team and your boredom is something they don’t want on their list.
