In addition to naming the suspect, a vigil held for Nipsey Hussle on Monday night outside of Hussle’s store ended with a stampede. A total of 19 people were taken to hospitals with two in critical condition.
According to police, about 300 to 400 people were present at the vigil when a fight broke out in the crowd. Several people were trampled as they fled from the scene. Chief Michel Moore of the Los Angeles Police Department clarified that reports of gunshots were false.
