Nipsey Hussle was fatally gunned down in front of his clothing store in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 31. The Crenshaw native suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the hospital. He was 33. According to New York Daily News, the Los Angeles Police Department believe they know who shot and killed Nipsey Hussle.
A law enforcement source told New York Daily News, the Los Angeles Police Department homicide detectives “have a suspect in their sights – and it’s someone Hussle “knows.” His murder may be classified as gang-related, due to Hussle’s prior gang affiliation, however, “it doesn’t appear the hit stemmed from a “rival gang” as much as a personal “deal gone wrong.” The anonymous source also told the publication, the suspect was not in custody as of Monday morning.
In addition, TMZ has obtained surveillance footage from a nearby business across from Nipsey’s clothing store. In the video, TMZ reports, “on the left side of the screen … you can see someone enter the frame from an alleyway, walking quickly toward the front of the store.” While the shooting is unclear, a group of people can be seen running from the scene. It’s unknown if the gunman is among the people running from the scene. More details about this story are developing.
