One of the most fun aspects of music is following your favorite artist on the route to success. At the top of 2020, Langston Bleu landed on the Def Pen radar with his single, “Waiting.” He quickly followed up that record with “You.” Since then, he’s been hard at work perfecting his craft and developing his next project. This weekend, we got a sneak peek at what he’s been cooking up.
Langston Bleu has delivered a new track called “Slow Down.” Landing in the middle of “Waiting” and “You,” the track offers a smooth bop that you can two-step and snap to.
“You ain’t feeling what I’m feeling/Baby ain’t no guarantees/Know this thing may seem appealing/But there’s more then what you see,” he sings.
As the track comes to a close, he slows down the pace with the bridge.
“Not tryna make no assumptions/Not tryna rush it/I don’t wanna start no fights/I just wanna take our time/You I don’t wanna lose/But too quickly are you moving/We been steady but you steady tryna switch the lane,” Bleu closes out the record.
Every time Langston Blue comes back around, he gets better and better. “Slow Down” is proof of his continued development as an artist. Check out the new song above.
