Many teams will try to make a play for Aldridge, including the the Mavericks, Spurs, Knicks, or maybe the Cavs if Kevin Love decides to leave. Still, it is possible that he will stay in Portland and not leave for another city.
Just because his house is for sale, that doesn’t mean he can’t get a new one in the area. For all you Blazer fans, here are some scenarios that can explain this situation.
1. He’s about to get that max contract and PAID by Portland so he want’s something bigger.
2. He want’s a smaller house because the one he has now is too big.
3. He want’s to move in a quieter neighborhood.
4. He hates his neighbors.
5. Just because it’s for sale, that doesn’t mean he’s actually selling it and playing the biggest prank on all Blazer fans.
6. It’s a great time to sell
7. He’s leaving for another team.
Free agency starts July 1st, and with many big names available on the market, it should be am entertaining summer for the NBA.
