According to G-League maven Chris Reichert, only $50k of Blue’s salary is guaranteed.
Blue, 25, played for the Lakers during the Las Vegas Summer League and helped lead the team to the Summer League championship alongside teammates Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma.
He had multiple standout outings during his time in the summer league, including a 27-point game against Brooklyn on July 15.
Blue won the D-League MVP award and was named to the All-NBA D-League First Team this past season with South Bay. He was also named to the All-Star team for the third consecutive year.
Blue has appeared in five professional games during his NBA career with the Celtics and Lakers.
