Something isn’t right in LA. We all know that. Los Angeles Lakers are struggling immensely early on this season and a 113-96 blowout loss to their rival Boston Celtics doesn’t help anything either.
Lakers coach Byron Scott decided to take matters into his own hands and make some changes before the Lakers contest tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans.
This is what Scott said after the loss, if he would make any lineup changes.
Byron Scott pondering how many changes he's going to make in the starting line-up: "It's been time enough. its time to make a few changes"

Scott continued on lineup changes: "One, two, I don't know how many I'm going to make right now. I'll let you guys know Sun. night" (on TWC)

Then today, Scott decided to take out Jeremy Lin and Carlos Boozer, who both have struggled early on in this season and replace them with Ronnie Price and Ed Davis.
Ronnie Price and @eddavis32 will move into the starting lineup tonight alongside @kobebryant, Wesley Johnson and Jordan Hill.

Byron Scott on starting Ronnie Price & Ed Davis over Jeremy Lin & Carlos Boozer: "Both of those guys have more of a defensive mentality"

Well this doesn’t come as a huge surprise, but it is a good move to try and solidify the defensive end so the offense can feed off what the teams defense is doing. It just makes sense. The offensive rotation off the bench with Lin, Boozer and Nick ‘Swaggy P’ Young is a good thing for the Lakers to have, especially if this lineup works.
