The Minnesota Timberwolves have a plentiful amount of riches in the youth and wing player department. One player in particular, Shabazz Muhammad, fits into both of those categories.
Muhammad is in a wing rotation alongside Andrew Wiggins, Tayshaun Prince and Kevin Martin. Although he is in the rotation, it appears that some teams are looking to pick off Muhammad from Minnesota.
Following from Yahoo! Sports Adrian Wojnarowski who says that some teams have been looking to acquire Muhammad.
Several teams intrigued with Shabazz Muhammad, but rival executives say that Minnesota — deep at wings — is unwilling to move him in deal.

But according to Darren Wolfson of ‘5 Eyewitness News’ in Minneapolis, the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets are two teams who have been interested in Shabazz.
By the way, heard the Nets and Lakers are two of the teams that like Shabazz. He has fans. But Milt is not moving him anytime soon. #twolves

Keeping Muhammad for their future plans works out best for the Timberwolves. Tayshaun Prince and Kevin Martin won’t be around forever, in fact, they might not be around beyond this season.
Going forward, Shabazz might be an interesting sixth man option for the Wolves. A starting lineup of Ricky Rubio, Zach LaVine, Andrew Wiggins, Karl-Anthony Towns and Gorgui Dieng with Muhammad coming off the bench alongside Nemanja Bjelica and Tyus Jones could make this team exciting in the future. Not to mention, they could have a ton of money to offer any big name free agent.
