The chaos surrounding the top picks in the upcoming draft has cast a cloud of uncertainty over the whole event with just six days left. A mega trade regarding the first overall pick has changed two of the top three picks in the draft and now the Lakers may also be making a trade.
According to Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times, the Lakers are listening to trade calls about their number two overall pick.
General manager Rob Pelinka made it clear he’ll listen if teams want to talk about trades. He also noted it’s unlikely the second pick in the draft gets moved.
Because of this uncertainty currently residing over the top 3 picks, Lonzo Ball may actually consider meeting with other teams according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN
Lonzo Ball is still considering talking to teams that have lottery picks below the Los Angeles Lakers
Much to the chagrin of Lavar Ball, it appears that Lonzo to the Lakers is anything but certain. Although he still has a high likelihood of being drafted by the Lakers, it is interested that they are still unsure with such a limited amount of time remaining until the draft.
