Los Angeles Lakers Forward and 7th pick in the 2014 NBA draft Julius Randle has suffered a hand laceration while practicing earlier today. Per the Lakers report:
Lakers forward Julius Randle suffered a laceration to his right hand (webbing between middle and ring fingers) yesterday while practicing. He received seven stitches and will be re-evaluated in approximately 14 days.
This doesn’t look like it’s too serious of an issue for Randle, who was most likely training to get ready for this next big season for the Lakers. Randle spent his offseason with the USA select team, where he has seemed to gain experience and work well with D’Angelo Russell. Although this may be a setback in his process to further establish himself in the NBA next season, it’s a very minor one. One that will be re-evaluated in 14 days. So don’t worry Lakers fans, he’s not out for the season again.
