A great gesture by the Los Angeles Lakers for their home game last night against the Washington Wizards when they handed out these commemorative rings to honor to legacy of the late, great architect of the Lakers, Dr. Jerry Buss.
Dr. Buss passed away 2 years ago and yesterday, January 27th, would’ve been his 82nd birthday.
While the team this season, for a few reasons, might not exactly be what they would like to see in Laker-land, they still are very much powered behind the Buss family with his daughter Jeanie leading the way as team’s president.
The Lakers won 10 championships under Buss’ leadership and it’s a very awesome way to remember his life, legacy and leadership with the Lakers organization.
