The Golden State Warriors are continuing to dominate the league. ESPN are drinking the Kool-aid, posting numbers that are substantially better than MJ’s Bulls. MJ fanboys are coming out the woodwork to disprove fact, this season is fun already.
The question were all asking each other is “who will hand the Warriors their first L?” and their next one, against the Lakers is a game most people will say ‘Lakers haven’t got a snowballs chance in hell’. But Kobe Bryant isn’t leaving it out.
“I’ve seen stranger things happen,” Bryant said Sunday after his team’s 107-93 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers at Staples Center here. “We’ve been playing like s—. We might go up there and we might play like gangbusters up there. You never know.“
I’m going to go totally out there and say no. The Lakers aren’t beating the Warriors. Can’t see it, and unlike the Heat when they had their nearly record breaking win streak, the Warriors don’t play to the opponents level. Nearly every Heat game you saw them tied with garbage teams and then when it comes to the 4th quarter they win by 10. It was annoying but they got the W. The Dubs don’t do that, they play their game all the time, forcing opponents to try and beat them at their own game. Lakers. No chance, stop it.
