When the Phoenix Suns acquired center Brandan Wright from the Boston Celtics it immediately made their young center, Miles Plumlee, expendable.
Early on though, Miles trade value was small, if there was any interest at all considering that there were no teams that wanted him when word first came around the league that he was available.
Now fast forward a few weeks, a nice Plumlee brothers appearance at the dunk contest and there seem to be 2 cellar dweller teams in the standings that may be interested in Miles Plumlee.

As such, we have Suns' Miles Plumlee, who has drawn interest from Knicks & Lakers. Reluctance to take on $ for next year, but only $2.1 mil

A move to either the Los Angeles Lakers or New York Knicks is mostly a move for those teams to take a shot on a potentially young, solid player who has a pretty cheap deal for about $2 million for next season.
He has size, he’s big and strong, can rebound and score a little bit in the post but he’s not the most refined offensively. He can learn though and seeing the progress of his brother he can definitely ask Mason for some tips.
If Plumlee would be moved it would be his third team in 3 seasons in the NBA. For some reason there is a lot of hopeful notions that the elder Plumlee would be great and develop much like his brother has in Brooklyn.
There is one positive though, if Miles Plumlee does go to the Knicks, maybe he and his brother Mason can share an apartment in New York.
