Lady Gaga and Jay-Z lead nominees for the Brit Awards 2010, snagging nods for their respective albums “The Fame” and “The Blueprint 3”.
Announced as nominees Monday, January 18, Lady Gaga and Jay Z are joined by fellow international nominees Rihanna, Norah Jones, Shakira, Eminem and Taylor Swift.
Sometimes thought of as the UK equivalent of the Grammys, the BRIT Awards celebrate only the best in music.
X Factor acts Leona Lewis and JLS also scored nominations. The latter of the two, JLS, earned nominations for British Single (“Beat Again”), British Group and Breakthrough British Act.
Robbie Williams, Alexandra Burke, Cheryl Cole, and Taio Cruz also received nominations.
