As the official scapegoat for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kevin Love constantly finds himself in the epicenter of trade rumors. Even after some of the best playoff performances of his career, including some quietly great play in the Finals, he again was being used as trade bait. Trades revolving around Paul George or possibly Jimmy Butler have been rumored since the last game of the season was played. Kevin Love has been the main piece for the Cavaliers while shopping for those two way stars.
Unfortunately for Cleveland, it appears neither team were that interested in the 6’10” rebounding sharp shooter. According ESPN Cleveland, Brian Windhorst reported that a trade is unlikely because of that disinterest.
Windy on George/Butler: “Nope. Not happening. The Cavs were not generating enough trade interest in Kevin Love.”

While it appears unlikely that the Cavaliers will get that piece that they hope will elevate them past the Warriors. Both Jimmy Butler and Paul George are likely to moved sometime this offseason. Especially with the constant grumblings from Paul Georges camp.
