The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly interested in pursuing a trade for Dwight Howard in light of today’s revelations that the Magic center is still disgruntled with the franchise. A deal would have to include Andrew Bynum because the Magic are keen to add youth and draft picks to the equation.
Howard still prefers Brooklyn as a destination but the Nets have shown interest in pursuing Joe Johnson of Atlanta and Luis Scola of the Rockets. The Lakers have not made any direct offer to the Nets as yet. Houston are also interested in Howard and are accumulating assets to try and make a run.
