The Brooklyn Nets are looking at a tough situation in Game 5. Kyrie Irving is going to miss Game 5 against the Milwaukee Bucks. In Game 4, Giannis Antetokounmpo and company took care of business and tied the series up 2-2. The Nets looked unstoppable through the first two games, outscoring their opponent by a collective 47 points. That included a 39-point beatdown in Game 2.
In Game 4, Kyrie went down after completely turning his ankle. The Nets point guard left the game on his own strength but did not return to action.

Brooklyn is already down another star player in James Harden. He has not played since Game 1 of this series. Despite the new injury to Kyrie, head coach Steve Nash has expressed not wanting to rush Harden back too soon. The Nets did get Jeff Green back in Game 4, and he should be available for Game 5.

Without Kyrie or Harden, Kevin Durant is going to have to carry the load and hope to get something out of Blake Griffin and other role players. The series goes back to Brooklyn, but it may be the beginning of the end if they can’t get healthy and take down the Bucks.
